Yes. You can transfer most popular domain extensions (.com, .net, .org, .info, .xyz, many country-code TLDs, etc.) to DignityHost. Just enter your domain on this page, unlock it at your current registrar, and obtain the auth/EPP code to start.

Before you start, make sure your domain is unlocked, privacy protection is disabled if required by your current registrar, you have the correct auth/EPP code, and you have access to the admin email address on the domain, as approval emails are usually sent there.

Most transfers complete within 24–72 hours once confirmed, but some TLDs can take up to 5–7 days depending on your current registrar and registry rules. You can monitor the status from your DignityHost account.

In most cases, no. As long as you do not change your nameservers during the transfer, your existing DNS records will continue to work. After the transfer is complete, you can move DNS to DignityHost at a convenient time to avoid disruption.

No. When you transfer a domain, the remaining registration time is usually kept and an extra year is added (for most TLDs) on successful transfer. Any exceptions depend on registry rules, and you will always see the final renewal period before payment.

Most domains must be at least 60 days old before they can be transferred between registrars, and many registries block transfers within 60 days of a recent transfer or ownership change. For domains very close to expiry, we recommend renewing first at your current registrar if you are unsure, then transferring later.

If a transfer fails or is rejected, your domain will remain with your current registrar. You can try again after fixing the issue (wrong auth code, locked domain, expired domain, etc.). If payment was taken for a transfer that does not complete, we will credit or refund it according to our billing policy.
